Potential New CMS

I’m working on examining a new content management system for StenoWeb, partially because WordPress seems like it’s getting slow and hueg, and partially because I like checking up on things every once in awhile. So yesterday I installed TextPattern into my little array of PHP+MySQL apps, and have been looking at what it does and how I can use it on my website. Switching to it would be really simple because the main level of my website just contains a php file that redirects to whatever CMS with which I’m currently in love.

TextPattern is cool because of how simple it is, compared to WordPress which seems incredibly over-complicated, although I suppose if I really wanted simple, I could just create a collection of static HTML pages to synchronize over to the web server whenever I wanted to make changes. That would be… epic?
